Who is this hands-on intensive for?
Licensed acupuncturists who want a clinically codified protocol for fully resolving chronic soft tissue pain in 5-10 sessions, and those who want to grow their practice. Practitioners at any career stage benefit; the intensive assumes a baseline of acupuncture training and clinical experience.
Do I need to complete the online series before the intensive?
Yes. You’ll want to complete watching the FAST Foundations online series, which gives you the foundational knowledge of the FAST protocol and clinical applications. This is how you arrive in Tucson prepared to do hands-on work from day one.
What happens after I register?
You’ll get immediate access to the 4-Part FAST Foundations online series that are instant access, and the Laser / PBM Acupuncture Primer. For FAST Foundations parts that are still live dates, you will be able to attend live online on that date and get recordings afterward.
Intensive logistics, hotel suggestions, and a pre-arrival checklist go out to all registered attendees.
Is this a CEU-accredited course?
Yes. The online series is approved for 16 NCCAOM and CA CEUs, and the in-person intensive is approved for an additional 16 NCCAOM and CA CEUs. 32 CEUs in total. The Laser Primer is an additional 3 CEUs.
What if my schedule changes after I register?
Spots are limited and non-transferable to other certification weekends without prior approval, and non-refundable. Please confirm your dates before registering, and reach out to steve@hanlinCIM.com for any scheduling questions.
Do I need to own a laser or PBM device to participate?
No. Steve provides equipment for use during the intensive.
Are non-acupuncturist practitioners eligible?
The FAST method and certification are designed for licensed acupuncturists. If you’re a related practitioner (chiropractor, physical therapist) and want to discuss whether the training fits your scope of practice, reach out to steve@hanlinCIM.com before registering.
